Dr. Wallace makes two presentations at the Southeastern Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference in Savannah Georgia

Dr Richard Wallace, chemistry and co-authors recently (January 8, 2010) presented two papers at the annual Southeastern Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference held in Savannah Georgia. The first paper,"Edible And Ornamental Banana Development For Non-Tropical Climates”, involved co-authors Ms. Suzy Carpenter (AASU chemistry), Ms. Crystina Bronk AASU (AASU undergraduate student) and Dr. Gerard Krewer (UGA-Tifton).

The second, “Recent Experiments Involving ‘Veinte Cohol': A Short Cycle Banana For Fruit Production In Non-tropical Environments”, was presented with collaborators Ms. Suzy Carpenter (AASU chemistry) and Dr. Gerard Krewer (UGA-Tifton).
